The RCS IP-Link keypad plugs into your network with a standard ethernet cable and talks directly to KP-Control Enterprise in the cloud. There is no on-site computer to maintain, no proprietary communication network to run, and no separate radio or cellular hardware to buy. If a network drop can reach the gate, the gate is online.
This is the same industrial hardware as our wired On-Site keypad, with the communication board swapped for ethernet: back-lit metal keypad, two line daylight readable customer display, and powder coated aluminum enclosure. The controller board carries heavy-duty surge protection on both the power and network inputs, and every part is field serviceable. IP-Link is available in keypad, prox card reader, and intercom configurations, exactly like On-Site.
Internet-connected keypads are not new to this industry, but they have historically carried a price tag that assumes you have no alternative. IP-Link delivers the same cloud-connected convenience for less, on hardware we design, build, and support ourselves in the United States, with the same 24/7 direct phone support that comes with every RCS system.

How IP-Link Connects
Every IP-Link keypad is its own connection to the cloud. Run a network cable to the unit, give it an address on your network, and it registers with KP-Control Enterprise. Tenant changes reach the gate in real time, and every entry, denial, and gate command flows straight back to your dashboard.
Because each keypad stands on its own, there is no single box at the property that the whole site depends on, and nothing to replace if you want to add an access point later. Adding a keypad means adding a network drop, not re-engineering the system.
What IP-Link asks for in return is honest and specific: a working internet connection at the property, and an ethernet drop at each keypad location. If the gate you need to control has no realistic path for a network cable, that is exactly what Air-Link wireless is for. If the property has no internet at all, look at Cell-Link cellular.
What IP-Link Requires
- Internet: An active internet connection at the property
- Network Drop: A wired ethernet connection at each keypad location
- Software: KP-Control Enterprise (cloud) subscription
- Not Compatible With: KP-Control Desktop (IP-Link is a cloud-only system)
- No On-Site PC: No office computer needed to run the system
- No Trenching for Comm Wire: Standard network cable, not proprietary wiring
If any of those give you pause, call us before you buy. We would rather tell you that a different RCS keypad fits your property better than sell you the wrong one.

KP-Control Enterprise Software
IP-Link runs exclusively on KP-Control Enterprise, our cloud platform. Full control and reporting from any browser on any operating system, with multiple simultaneous logins so your call center and your site managers are never waiting on each other.
Switch between a multi-site overview that shows network health, AC power, and gate status across your whole portfolio, and a single-site view for granular control of one facility. Assign permissions by role (corporate, regional, district, or on-site), and every action is logged with a timestamp for audit compliance.
KP-Control interfaces with most popular self-storage management software programs, so no double data entry is needed. Rent a unit or mark an account delinquent in your management software, and your gates already know.
RCS Codice! Phone App
Revenue Control Systems IP-Link access controllers have the optional capability to use our Codice! Phone App to access a facility without entering a code on the keypad unit.
Codice allows managers to control their facility on the go, and lets tenants open gates without having to reach out to the keypad, great for RV drivers. Both manager and tenant versions are included with the app, for unlimited users.
After a one-time activation code has been entered, the tenant will see the customized home screen for the facility they are storing with, allowing the tenant to pay their rent, visit the facility website, and more all from the Codice! App.
